Cyclist Struck by Car on Costa Mesa Street

A bicyclist was critically injured in Costa Mesa on Saturday night after being hit by a car at the intersection of West 19th Street and Wallace Avenue, police said. The accident occurred at 8:20 p.m.
The victim, an adult male, was taken to Western Medical Center-Santa Ana, Costa Mesa Police Lt. Allen Huggins said. His condition was unavailable late Saturday.
