* Re “Mothers Do It All for Love--but Money Helps,” Aug. 22: So the value of Mom’s labor is over $500,000 a year when paid professional rates 24 hours a day, seven days a week. That’s almost $1,400 a day. How on Earth was that ridiculous figure calculated?
