Rating the MLS Referees

There were 18,422 fouls committed in Major League Soccer’s first 653 games, with 178 red cards and 2,075 yellows cards issued by the referees. The following three charts rate MLS game officials, based on the number of fouls they call and the red and yellow cards they issue. The statistics are all-time for regular-season games through Aug. 23 and include only referees who have officiated more than 10 games.
