The City Council recently authorized spending $2,100 to take part in a rail feasibility and alignment study, which will be conducted on behalf of the West Orange County Cities Assn. However, Councilman Ronald Bates asked that the cities be required to approve the study’s finding before its release to the public. Bates also asked that rail extensions be placed on Katella Avenue and the San Diego and Garden Grove freeways.
