VENTURA COUNTY ROUNDUP : COUNTYWIDE : Volunteers Sought to Teach Reading

Volunteers are needed to teach adults to read in Camarillo, Fillmore, Moorpark, Oxnard, Simi Valley and Ventura.
No previous tutoring experience is required, and training and materials are free. The next training session will be held Sept. 15 and 16 from 6 to 9 p.m. in the community room of the Simi Valley Library, 2969 Tapo Canyon Road.
Volunteers must be able to commit to two one-hour sessions a week for tutoring students.
