Park District Offers Winter-Break Camp

The Pleasant Valley Recreation and Park District will stage a “winter-break camp” for children from kindergarten to sixth grade.
Camp hours will be 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Dec. 20-24 and Dec. 27-31. Extended day-care hours will be available for free from 7 to 9 a.m. and from 4 to 6 p.m.
Camp will be held at the Freedom Center at Camarillo Airport, 515 Eubanks St. Activities will include arts, crafts, games, sports, cooking, music and singing. Also offered will be archery lessons, a winter carnival and karaoke events. Morning and afternoon snacks will be provided, but children must bring their own lunches.
The cost is $80 per week.
