In the Orange County boys’ water polo all-star game:
North 11, South 6--Saddleback’s Julian Gonzalez scored three goals to lead the North to its first victory since 1995. Villa Park’s Mike Casagrande added two goals for the North at El Toro High.
In the El Dorado Holiday wrestling tournament:
Peralta wins--Villa Park’s Tommy Peralta was named outstanding wrestler in the lower weights, defeating Anthony Rodriguez of Brethren Christian, 11-2, in the 112-pound match. Poway, the defending state champion, won the tournament with 292.5 points. Villa Park finished second with 196.
