The city is still on its quest for a city seal. Council members picked a favorite from more than 40 designs last month, but the artist who designed it declined to let the city make changes to it, said City Clerk Meg Monahan. She said the Arts Assn., an informal group of residents originally formed to help choose a seal, will design the new seal. The association is planning to submit a few designs by Jan. 5, she said. The City Council will make a final decision on what the city seal will be, Monahan said.
