Antonio

and finished fifth to qualify for the national
championships at Oak Trails Course
at Shades of Green in Lake Buena Vista, Fla. Villa Park senior Augie Escobar finished one second ahead of Mejia, giving the county two qualifiers for the first time since 1992.

Averaged 27 points and 15 rebounds in nonleague victories over Whittier and Laguna Hills.

Was named outstanding wrestler in the lower weights at the El Dorado Holiday tournament.

Santa Margarita, Volleyball
Davis helped the Eagles end two years of frustration with an MVP performance in the State Division II finals,
leading
Santa
Margarita to its first state title with a victory over Mountain View St. Francis, 16-14, 16-14, 5-15, 15-7, Saturday at Cypress College. Davis had 20 kills and six blocks to highlight a balanced attack for Santa Margarita, which lost to St. Francis in the last two Division II state finals.

Named State Division I tournament MVP after helping the Sailors defeat Stockton Lincoln in three games.

Brea Olinda, Basketball
Had 20 points and 12 rebounds in 79-72 victory over Chino Don Lugo in the Rancho Grande tournament final.
