GAMES OF THE WEEK

LONG BEACH POLY (13-0) vs. SANTA ANA MATER DEI (11-2), Saturday at Edison Field, 7:30 p.m.--The Southern Section Division I championship game features the same matchup for the third time in three years, but it’s never boring when these teams play each other. Poly won in 1997 at the Coliseum. Mater Dei won last year at Edison Field.

CARSON (11-2) vs. CRENSHAW (11-2), Friday at Coliseum, 8 p.m.--Carson is seeking its first City championship since 1993. Crenshaw has never won a major division title.
