City Councilman Don Bankhead, a retired police captain and former mayor, will hold a holiday open house from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday to inaugurate his campaign headquarters.
Bankhead is running for the state Assembly in the 72nd District, which includes Brea, Fullerton, La Habra, Placentia, Yorba Linda and parts of Anaheim and Buena Park. The seat is held by Dick Ackerman, who is running for the state Senate.
