KROQ Holiday Album Is Tops in Local Sales
- Share via
One sure sign of the holiday season in Southern California is a charity album overseen by KROQ’s Kevin & Bean at the top of the local chart. As usual, this year’s edition, which features comedy bits plus songs by Tori Amos, above, Moby, Blink-182 and others, doesn’t qualify for the Billboard magazine album chart because it’s sold through just one retailer. You can pencil it in yourself, though--its sales of about 40,000 would put it in about No. 68 on that chart.
