Bloomington’s Artie Allen rushed for 194 yards in 25 carries and Ronnie Adams added 180 yards in 26 carries as the Bruins won their fourth consecutive championship in a 36-20 victory at Barstow.
The last team to win four titles in a row was Temple City, which accomplished the feat from 1970-73.
In all, Bloomington (11-3) rushed for 456 yards while passing only twice. Barstow (12-2) was led by Ahmad Hawkings, who rushed for 117 yards in 13 carries, scoring two touchdowns.
Bloomington led 20-12 heading into the fourth quarter and put the game away when Allen scored on a four-yard run with 9:31 left.
