In nonleague boys’ soccer:
No. 2 Woodbridge 2, No. 8 El Toro 0--Ryo Nakimura scored in the 50th minute and David Chun in the 70th minute for host Woodbridge (4-1).
No. 6 Fountain Valley 2, No. 9 Santa Ana 0--Kyle Polak recorded his sixth shutout in seven games with four saves for Fountain Valley (6-1). Cliff McKinley scored his ninth goal and assisted on Jon Armor’s goal for the Barons.
Esperanza 1, No. 4 Trabuco Hills 0--Justin Wankauskus scored with eight minutes remaining for host Esperanza (7-1-2). Trabuco Hills is 6-3.
No. 1 Santa Margarita 6, Santiago 0--Sebastian Galmarini and Spencer George both scored two goals for host Santa Margarita (5-0-2).
No. 3 Mater Dei 4, Dana Hills 1--Kevin Novak had two goals and Matt Fennell had a goal and an assist for host Mater Dei (7-2-1), which bounced back from a loss Monday to No. 6 Fountain Valley.
Corona del Mar 1, Newport Harbor 0--John Schrank scored in the 60th minute off an assist from Adam Hoyt for visiting Corona del Mar (1-1).
Huntington Beach 2, Costa Mesa 0--Tom McDaniel and Joel Murphy each scored goals for visiting Huntington Beach (5-0-1).
Laguna Hills 2, Laguna Beach 0--Josh Levine and Martin Rocha each had a goal and an assist for host Laguna Hills (3-4). Laguna Beach is 2-4-1.
Los Alamitos 3, Loara 0--Troy Meisner scored in the 50th minute and goalkeeper Jamie Ackerman posted his third shutout for host Los Alamitos (4-1-3). Loara is 2-2.
Marina 1, Long Beach Cabrillo 0--Sean Duggan scored in the 60th minute off an assist from Phil Barney for host Marina (5-2).
In the Brea Olinda tournament:
Servite 3, Chino 2--Jeff Murphy scored twice for Servite (8-2), including the winning goal in the 73rd minute from 18 yards. The Friars will play the Orange Lutheran-La Mirada winner in the semifinals Friday at 4:45 p.m.
Brea Olinda 5, Whittier California 0--Josh Alexander scored two goals to lead defending champion Brea Olinda (3-0-1) in the first round.
