Michael Ramirez’s Dec. 15 editorial cartoon faults politics for the legal troubles of Linda Tripp. Fact is, Bill Clinton was put through the legal process, was impeached and the Senate voted not to remove him from office. Tripp, on the other hand, allegedly committed an illegal act of wiretapping and now must face the law. Perhaps Ramirez’s cartoon should have depicted Tripp hanging from the cord of her own telephone.
