Fidelity National Sets Date for Merger Vote

Irvine-based Fidelity National Financial Inc. set Feb. 9 as the date for shareholders to vote on a proposed merger with major rival Chicago Title Corp.
Fidelity National expects the deal to close in the first quarter.
Fidelity National agree to buy Chicago Title for about $1.2 billion, or $52 a Chicago Title share, in cash and stock.
