Katella and Fullerton finished their nonleague girls’ basketball game Tuesday night at Fullerton High School with no spectators present after the stands were cleared by referees with two minutes left in the game.
Katella won the game, 47-43.
Katella Coach Marshall Schuler said the referees emptied the gym because of what he called verbal abuse.
Nikki Kindstrand scored 26 points and Jae Jefferson grabbed 14 rebounds to lead Katella (4-4).
