Museum Celebrates ‘Gone With the Wind’

ATLANTA — The enduring allure of “Gone With the Wind” was celebrated this month with the debut of a museum commemorating the 60th anniversary of the film’s premiere here. The museum, opened as a part of the Margaret Mitchell House in the city’s downtown, displays artifacts from the film, ranging from promotional posters in several languages to the original door of the Tara plantation. The Margaret Mitchell House is open 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily. Adult admission is $7. Tel. (404) 249-7015.
