The local talent is split about evenly between the Trabuco Hills’ Mustang tournament and the Marina tournament, which start today and finish Wednesday. The Mustang tournament, which holds its semifinals Tuesday at 5:30 and 7 and its final at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, has top-ranked Santa Margarita, fourth-ranked Edison, fifth-ranked Woodbridge and previously ranked Capistrano Valley and Trabuco Hills and El Toro. The 13th Marina tournament has second-ranked Fountain Valley, third-ranked Mater Dei, seventh-ranked Santa Ana and highly regarded Huntington Beach and Esperanza. The semifinals are Tuesday at noon and 1:30 and the final is Wednesday at 1.
