The city’s computer network has been Y2K-compliant since November, City Network Administrator Chris Kreymann said.
Year 2000 testing included setting clocks forward, replacing and upgrading software and hardware, and running software and hardware programs.
The computer network services City Hall, the police department and fire stations.
In the event of a computer failure, the Emergency Operation Center will act as a backup communication command center for city officials.
