Concordia Men Lose Championship Game

Tournament MVP Ehren Hull made two three-pointers in the closing minutes to help Mount Vernon Nazarene, the top-ranked team in NAIA Division II, hold off Concordia, 86-79, in the final of the Concordia men’s basketball tournament Thursday at Concordia.
Hull finished with 22 points and all-tournament selection Brad Hostasa had 19 for Mt. Vernon Nazarene (13-0), which shot 59% from the field.
All-tournament selection Harald Hofmann had 21 points and six rebounds to lead Concordia (8-5). Josh Giles scored 20 points and Jet Quillen 14 for the Eagles.
