CAL STATE NORTHRIDGE (8-4) at NORTHERN ARIZONA (8-3), 6 p.m.: Northridge brings twice as many victories into Big Sky Conference play as it did in either of the last two seasons. The Matadors, who have a winning nonconference record for the first time in nine Division I seasons, are coming off decisive victories over James Madison and Lewis-Clark State. Forward Rico Harris returned after sitting out five games because of a hip pointer to grab 12 rebounds against Lewis-Clark. Brian Heinle, Harris, Derrick Higgins, Greg Minor and Andre Larry all average in double figures scoring, and although no Matador averages more than seven rebounds a game, Northridge has outrebounded opponents, 473-437. For Northern Arizona, the defending Big Sky champion, guard Ross Land has made 31 of 59 three-point shots.
