The application deadline for membership on the Tustin Unified School District Middle School Boundary Committee is 4 p.m. Wednesday. Parents with children in the district who have not previously served on a boundary committee are sought. They will help study the middle school attendance boundaries, which have to be reset because of enrollment growth and the planned opening of Pioneer Middle School in Tustin Ranch next fall.

One parent representative from each elementary and middle school will be selected by the Board of Education at its Jan. 11 meeting. The committee will begin meeting next month. Information: (714) 730-7305.
