Coyote Network Systems--a provider of telecommunications equipment and international long-distance services--has received an equipment order from a third-party leasing company that will take title to the equipment and provide financing to Mercury Telecom (USA), Coyote announced.
In addition, the Westlake Village-based company announced that it has signed a three-year long-distance services agreement with Mercury Telecom. The equipment order is valued at about $1.3 million and includes a Coyote Technologies DSS 10,000 Switch, a debit card platform and a billing system.
The equipment was to be delivered last month to a telecom site in New York City.
Coyote’s wholesale international long-distance company, American Gateway Telecommunications, will provide the international long-distance service.
Mercury Telecom is a new international long-distance carrier, concentrating on markets in India, Pakistan and Bangladesh.
