Unidentified Man Found Shot to Death Near Freeway

LAKE VIEW TERRACE — The body of a man who had been shot was found Tuesday near a Foothill Freeway onramp.
Los Angeles Fire Department spokesman Brian Humphrey said the body was found in the 10200 block of Foothill Boulevard near Wheatland Avenue at 4:41 p.m.
The unidentified man died from one or more gunshot wounds, said Los Angeles Police Department spokesman Jason Lee. He declined to elaborate.
“We don’t know if the shooting occurred there or the body was dumped there,” Lee said. “We have not concluded our investigation.”
A rescue squad responding to the call said the victim was wearing a yellow jacket, Humphrey said.
