Consumerism

I barely made it through the holidays, with the decadent materialsm and Furby frenzy associated with Christmas. I was so pleased to read the Dec. 31 commentary by Richard B. Anderson, “Seeking Something That’s Beyond Just Consumerism.” I can start this new year knowing that there are other like-minded souls out there.

I urge you to address this topic of materialistic self-indulgence much more frequently and, hopefully, next year these kinds of articles could be seen before Christmas.
