A Reseda man returning from work was held up at gunpoint and his home ransacked Tuesday night.
Two men, one with a gun, came up behind Virgilio Munoz as he was entering his home on the 7800 block of Chimineas Avenue.
The robbers ordered Munoz, who owns a clothing store in Reseda, inside and handcuffed him, before fleeing with an undisclosed amount of cash and other items, said Los Angeles Police Officer Dwayne White.
Munoz’s wife returned as the robbery was in progress. She thought it strange to discover the front door open, so she called police from a neighbor’s house, White said.
The men fled in a waiting green or gray pickup or minivan, driven by two accomplices, police said.
