In Century League wrestling:
No. 4 Villa Park 48, Foothill 20--Villa Park’s Willie Parks, the county’s top-ranked 145-pounder, defeated third-ranked Shane Oliver, 2-1, on a takedown with 15 seconds left in the match. Villa Park is 11-1, 2-0.
In the South Coast League boys’ soccer:
Dana Hills 3, No. 6 Trabuco Hills 1--Steve Jennings scored three goalsfor Dana Hills (8-6-0, 1-0).
In nonleague boys’ soccer:
No. 8 Santa Ana 1, No. 3 Fountain Valley 0--Fountain Valley lost on a second-half own goal. Santa Ana’s Diego Mejia kicked a ball from 40 yards that was mistakenly headed in by a Baron player.
Bellflower St. John Bosco 3, No. 9 Brea Olinda 2--Brea Olinda’s Kory Felix tied the score with 10 minutes remaining, but St. John Bosco scored the game-winner five minutes later.
In Pacific Coast League girls’ water polo:
Costa Mesa 15, No. 10 Estancia 0--Katy Peterson scored five goals, Shayna Kline had four and Stephanie Lombardo made seven saves for her second shutout of the season.
In the Sea View League:
No. 6 Newport Harbor 12, Corona del Mar 1--Jocelyn Manderino had four goals, four steals and one assist and Kyndra Cox had four goals for Newport Harbor (6-2, 1-0).
In the South Coast League:
No. 5 Capistrano Valley 14, Mission Viejo 6--Amber Stachowski scored five goals and Ashley Stachowski had three for Capistrano Valley (6-3, 1-0).
