The City Council is expected to fill the vacant District 2 seat tonight, choosing between two candidates who were interviewed last week. The seat, which became vacant after Mayor George Brown stepped down after his election to the Coast Community College District board, represents some of Leisure World, College Park West and the Montecito condominiums.
The two applicants are John H. Larson, a Planning Commission member, and Paul Snow, a member of the city Board of Appeals. The meeting begins at 7 p.m. in council chambers, 211 8th St. Information: (562)431-2527.
