The City Council tonight will consider approving $171,000 in additional design fees for the $22-million community center and sports park, scheduled to open in July 2000. The additional fees will pay for the redesign of the 40,000-square-foot community center, which originally included plans for a library. The center will include a multipurpose room with a stage, gymnasium, park and recreation offices, and a learning center. The council meets at 7 p.m. in chambers, 25201 Paseo de Alicia, Suite 150. Information: (949) 707-2600.
