Nearly 400 area high school students attended the Chicano/Latino College Conference at Golden West College last month. The conference introduced high school seniors to a college environment and provided them with an opportunity to meet educators and peers. Students from Edison, Fountain Valley, Huntington Beach, Marina and Ocean View high schools, as well as students from the Huntington Beach adult school, participated in the event.
