Holiday Closings

Monday is Martin Luther King Jr. Day. The following schedules will be in effect:
* All county, state and federal offices will be closed, as will some city offices. Call for information.
* County, state and federal courthouses will be closed.
* County libraries will be closed. Most city libraries will also be closed. Call for information.
* Most banks and savings and loans will be closed. Call for information.
* Schools: Orange County public schools (K-12) will be closed, as will all community colleges, Cal State Fullerton, UC Irvine and Chapman University.
* Mail: There will be no delivery. All post offices will be closed, and mail deposited in mailboxes will be picked up according to the posted holiday schedule.
* Trash: Pickups will follow the regular schedule.
* Buses: Orange County Transportation Authority buses and ACCESS service will run on a regular schedule.
* MetroLink: Trains will run on a regular schedule.
* Parks: All city- and county-run parks and recreation facilities will be open during regular hours.
