Services Will Honor Memory of Rev. King

The Grand Avenue Methodist Church will honor Martin Luther King Jr. with special liturgies and music during a service at 7 p.m. Monday at 2121 N. Grand Ave. in Santa Ana.

“King, Jesus and Moses all had something in common,” said the Rev. Jerry Carter, who will deliver the sermon. “The three all wanted freedom for those oppressed. We’re doing this in remembrance of his life.”
