Saddleback Memorial Medical Center is offering a free seminar Monday on new computer programs designed to improve communication between doctors and patients. Dr. Bruce Van Vranken will be discussing programs that allow chronically ill patients to forward their status information to doctors daily, databases that store medical charts for access by any doctor, and how the Internet can be used to find individualized medical treatments.
