The Planning Commission will decide Wednesday whether to allow a property surveyor to subdivide a 2.38-acre commercial lot in the 11900 block of Beach Boulevard. Dixon Surveying has proposed splitting the lot occupied by a Carl’s Jr. fast-food restaurant. The restaurant is now the only building on the site.
Development services associate Jim Basham said subdividing property is a common way to get a lower financing rate from a lender. But, he added, the city will not allow construction of a divider, such as a concrete wall, on the Carl’s Jr. lot.
The Planning Commission meeting is at 6:30 p.m. in Council Chambers, 7800 Katella Ave.
