The City Council next week will continue discussing a proposal to construct a 90,000-square-foot retail complex facing Brea Boulevard. The council still wants more detailed answers from city staff about whether there will be enough parking for the project. Tuesday’s meeting extended past midnight, and several council members did not get a chance to ask all their questions about the redevelopment project, known as Superblocks I and II. The project is generally bounded by Imperial Highway, Brea Boulevard, Orange Avenue and Ash Street. The council will study the topic again during a public meeting Tuesday, 5 to 7 p.m., at 1 Civic Center Circle.
