Boller, Seidman Are All-Americans

Continuing to pick up postseason awards, quarterback Kyle Boller of Hart High and tight end Mike Seidman of Westlake have been selected to the Parade magazine All-American team.
They are among 56 high school players honored on one of the most prestigious All-American squads. The team will appear in Sunday’s edition of Parade magazine that appears in The Times.
BASEBALL
Jeff Suppan, former Crespi High pitcher expected to compete for a starting position with the Kansas City Royals, will be the guest Saturday at 8:30 a.m. on Valley Sports 2, a local cable television show that airs in the West Valley on ESPN2.
VOLLEYBALL
Ed Bond, who played at Cal State Northridge, has been named boys’ coach at Newbury Park. Bond coached the junior varsity at Notre Dame.
GYMNASTICS
Jonathan Ham and Eric Nishimoto, graduates of Granada Hills High, helped the Illinois men’s team to fourth place in the Windy City Invitational last weekend in Chicago.
Ham placed 14th in the high bar at 9.30, and Nishimoto was 20th in the all-around at 51.40.
