Patient Care at Shoreline

Re “Pair Files Wrongful Death Suit in Alleged Neglect of Mother, 85,” Jan. 11.
My husband has been a resident at Shoreline Care Center since May 1998. I visit him almost daily, and in that time I have observed the employees being unfailingly kind and compassionate to the residents.
My husband is always clean and neat. If a sore develops, salve is immediately applied.
My husband has dementia and does not perceive reality. Once he complained of poor treatment. When I brought this to the staff’s attention, it was quickly investigated and all channels and procedures were followed. I was very satisfied with the handling.
Because of its compassionate staff, I would recommend Shoreline to anyone.
