Six city police officers were recently honored for their ability to identify and recover stolen vehicles. Officers Karl Beilby, John Benyak, Domingo Cabrera, James Geist, Fedencio Zepeda and Robert Valdez were honored by the California Highway Patrol and the Auto Club of Southern California for recovering 81 stolen vehicles in a year, with 36 arrests and total recovery value of $393,000.
