A Fantasy Face Lift for Disneyland Hotel

A Peter Pan-themed face lift at the Disneyland Hotel will include a 148-seat restaurant called Hook’s Pointe & Wine Cellar, the Anaheim hotel announced Tuesday.
Hook’s Pointe replaces the Shipyard Inn, a seafood restaurant that faced out on the hotel’s central marina area. That area is being replaced with an elaborate swimming pool themed to Disney’s animated version of the children’s tale featuring the villainous Captain Hook.
The lunch and dinner menus at the new restaurant will feature mesquite-grilled entrees, said Rod Schinnerer, general manager of the Disneyland Hotel. The wine list includes 25 wines that can be purchased by the glass, half glass or taste as well as by the bottle.
