The Community Center is hosting an evening of 1940s-style romance with big band music and dancing Feb. 12. The three-hour Sweetheart Ball begins at 7:30 p.m. and features the tunes of Glenn Miller and Tommy Dorsey. The 13-piece Michael Henebry Orchestra and vocalist Kelly Foster will perform. Tickets for the event, at 695 E. Madison Way, are available at the center for $8. Table reservations for parties of 10 cost an additional $2 per ticket.
