The city is seeking applications for its Community Youth Program Grants. The program aims to expand recreation/activity options for children in grades three through 12 during non-school hours, and to provide citywide parent training to high-risk youth and families. The funding will serve recipients from July 1 through June 30, 2000. A bidders workshop will be held today from 3 to 4 p.m. and Thursday from 10 to 11 a.m. The deadline to submit a proposal is March 3. Information: (949) 724-6648.
