The city will honor Police Chief Steve Staveley with an open reception tonight. Staveley, who has served the community for 32 years, will be leaving at the end of the month for a position as director of the state’s Division of Law Enforcement. The event will be from 4 to 7 p.m. in the Grand Ballroom at the La Habra Community Center, 101 W. La Habra Blvd. Information: Cindy Knapp, (562) 905-9615.
