Results of tuberculosis testing at Orange High School will be released Thursday, according to Orange Unified School District spokeswoman Judy Frutig. About 300 students and staff are being tested this week for low-level, communicable tuberculosis they may have contracted from a student found to have the bacterial disease in its earliest stages.
The testing, which began Monday and continues today, was mandatory for all students and teachers in the youth’s seven classes, school officials said. Testing was optional for other students, teachers and their family members.
