Loach Gives Ice Dogs a Lift

MILWAUKEE — Lonnie Loach scored with 24 seconds left to lead the Long Beach Ice Dogs over the Admirals, 4-3, Tuesday night in an International Hockey League game.
Loach’s goal, his second of the game, ended a five-game winless streak for the Ice Dogs (30-18-1). Long Beach’s Sean Tallaire tied the score, 1-1, in the second period and Eric Manlow put Long Beach ahead, 3-2, with 3:49 in the third period. Long Beach goalie Ryan Bach stopped 26 of 29 shots he faced.
