Nancy Vandeman, a Peters Canyon Elementary parent, has been selected to head the Tustin Unified School District’s middle school boundary realignment committee. Ed O’Rourke, a parent from Guin Foss Elementary School, will stand in as chairman if Vandeman cannot attend a meeting. Meetings will be held at 6:30 p.m. Thursdays, including tonight, in the District Administration Center boardroom, 300 South C St.
The 23-member committee will study middle school attendance areas and recommend to the Board of Education boundary changes to accommodate enrollment growth and the opening of Pioneer Middle School in Tustin Ranch this fall. Information: (714) 730-7339.
