Stephanie White-McCarty scored 28 points to lead No. 2 Purdue, 18-1 overall and 10-0 in the Big Ten, to a 91-86 victory Friday night against Indiana (13-11, 2-8) at Bloomington, Ind. Kay Morgan led Indiana with 20 points.
Kim Hotz scored 18 points to lead Xavier (16-3, 7-2) to a 71-67 victory against No. 11 Virginia Tech (18-1, 8-1) in an Atlantic 10 game at Cincinnati. . . . Mery Andrade had 16 points as 12th-ranked Old Dominion (14-3, 8-0) raced to a 81-59 victory over Virginia Commonwealth (8-10, 5-3) in a Colonial Athletic Conference game at Richmond, Va. . . . Jenny Knight held Tulane All-American Grace Daley to 12 points as Louisville (16-7, 9-1) held on for a 63-58 victory over No. 18 Tulane (17-3, 8-2) in a Conference USA game at New Orleans. . . . Stacey Thomas scored 26 points as Michigan (13-6, 5-4) dominated 19th-ranked Ohio State (13-6, 6-3) in overtime of a 85-71 Big Ten victory at Ann Arbor, Mich. . . . Lisa Shepherd ignited a 29-9 second-half run to help 21st-ranked Penn State (15-5, 7-3) to a 91-61 win over Wisconsin (9-11, 4-6) in a Big Ten game at State College, Pa.
