The City Council on Tuesday will hold a public hearing to consider changing the zoning code to allow non-restaurant drive-thrus in all commercial-residential areas. Currently the zoning code does not list drive-thrus as a potential use, and businesses must apply for special permits. The code change would apply to banks, dairies, laundries and other non-restaurant-related drive-thrus. The council meets at 7 p.m. in chambers, 33282 Golden Lantern. Information: (949) 248-9890.
