The City Council tonight will interview two candidates for city treasurer. Frank Ricchiazzi and Laura McQueen were selected from a pool of applicants to replace former Treasurer Susan A. Morse, who retired after serving in the position for 17 years. Ricchiazzi, a private real estate investor, served for five years as assistant director of the California Department of Motor Vehicles. McQueen, a certified public accountant, has served as financial controller for several Orange County businesses. The council meets at 6 p.m. in chambers, 505 Forest Ave. Information: (949) 497-0750.
