Officials are studying whether to implement a city-run transportation program for the elderly, at a cost of $39,000. The program would provide door-to-door transportation for shopping, doctor visits and other activities within a five-mile radius of city limits. The City Council is expected to make a decision on which program to fund within the next few months.
